Zinc 720

ZINC 720 is a unique high-end formula of epoxy modified alkyd resin together with a very high content of 100% pure active zinc particles. Applied to all metals it creates an extremely flexible, highly resistant and durable zinc-resin coating, which offers excellent protection against corrosion by electro-chemical-effect. Even if the applied coating is scratched or damaged, ZINC 720 will provide protection against corrosion through a cathode-protection-effect between zinc and metal as well as insoluble alkaline products (zinc salts) which develop and protect the surface further against corrosion.

  • Greatly effective formula with increased content of active micronized zinc particles
  • These micronized zinc particles create an extremely high effective protection coating through cold galvanization
  • Extremely long lasting and durable
  • Corrosion protection salt spray Test of over 720 hours
  • Approved by TÜV-Rheinland/Germany
  • Powerful adhesion due to epoxy modified alkyd and 100% pure zinc powder
  • Very high coverage
  • Excellent for repairing/replacing hot dip galvanized treated parts
  • Stops rust - prevents corrosion through cathode-protection-effect
  • Excellent bonding to all types of metals
  • Easily to be painted over
  • Can be spot-welded
  • Tough and flexible surface - will not flake off

  • Applicable for highest corrosion protection and salt spray test resistance available from cold galvanization.
  • Applied to reinstall corrosion protection of hot dip galvanized surfaces damaged by welding, drilling, cutting, grinding or other mechanical treatments.
  • Can also be used to for sealing and corrosion resistance treatment of hollow spaces, tubes and concave parts.
  • Other typical applications, where ZINC 720 has proved its value: hot water tanks, metal welding constructions, fences, railways and earth moving equipment, cooling towers, agricultural equipment, metal windows and doors, roofs, discharge chutes, laundry and car wash installations, oil refineries, steel bridge constructions, steel frames, air conditioning units, signaling installations, storage tanks,  pumps, compressors in the chemical industry etc.
  • Perfectly suitable for coastal boating and shipping equipment which suffer contact with salt water environments and generally for tidying up of weather beaten galvanized parts.
  • Also to be applied as undercoating for cars, trailers, heavy equipment before putting on top coating of paint and lacquer.
  • AFTER USE: to clean the nozzle and to prevent blockage, hold the can upside down and spray until only gas is released.
  • Make sure that surfaced/parts to be treated are clean and free soil and oil/grease. Pre-treat and clean with MEGA FOAM or SAFE CLEAN!
  • Apply required number of coatings as per desired corrosion resistance level (see TECHNICAL INFORMATION above).
  • To match color of originally hot dip galvanized surfaces (lighter color), use TECHMASTERS “ZINC GUARD”.
  • For cleaning and pre-treatment of surface before applying ZINC 720 please use SAFE CLEAN and BIO CLEAN as directed.
