Topflux

TOPFLUX has been developed and designed for electrical termination of multiple-wire combinations, which requirehigh quality, reliability, long life span and water tightness. TOPFLUX consist of a highest quality heat-shrinkable Kynar sleeve, containing a spiral wound copper cone, pre fluxed solder ring and a thermoplastic sealing ring. TOPFLUX is very easy to install and the quality of the connection can be visually checked because of the transparency of the connector. TOPFLUX comes in different sizes (see product references) and can be applied for twisted and solid cables in a diameters from 0,7 mm – 12,0 mm.

  • Soldering - sealing – connecting in one application
  • Connecting flexible and rigid conductors
  • Can be installed quickly and easily with lighter or heat gun
  • Waterproof connection
  • Transparent insulation sleeve provides encapsulation, inspect, stain relief and insulation.
  • Resistant to temperatures from -55°C to +150°C.
  • Shrinkable kynar sheath: flame-retardant, remains flexible, high insulation power
  • Pre fluxed solder provides: no voltage loss, solid connection, perfectly smooth flow
  • Sealing ring with thermoplastic adhesive seals completely.

External wall: flame-retardant kynar polymer.
Shrink ratio: 2 / 1
Upper sealing: Ceramic ball – colour coded
Tensile strehgh NAS175: >4,5 N than outgoing line
Cossison resitance (35° 96 hrs, 5 % NaCl): ≤ 2,5MV
Sealing rings: thermally stabilized thermoplastic
Protection Type IEC 60529: IP 67

Voltage loss NAS1745: < 2MV
Installation temperature: 80°C - 120°C
Volume resistivity (Ω cm): ≥ 10^15
Dielectric strength ASTM D2671 (kV/mm): ≥ 32
Temperature resistance: -55°C to +150°C.
Voltage resistant: > 600V

  • Use:
  • connection wire to component terminals
  • electrical installation and maintenance services
  • industrial maintenance service
  • garages and car body workshops
  • repair of tools and machines
  • horticulture and exterior lighting
  • sign posting, neon signs
  • ship building and ship repair
  • installation of car radios and alarm systems
  • installation of towing hooks
  • truck and bus construction
  • agriculture contractors, farmers
  • building industry
  • pleasure crafts and outboard motors
  • motorcycles
  • Application:
  • Choose right size of connector, apply twisted wires from bottom until they have reached the position of the spiral wounded copper cone. Apply heat by heat gun or lighter. Start from the lead core and move to the outside insulation, remain until the lead is melted and the connection is completed.
