Sil Tech N

SIL TECH N is a Meko-free, filled, elastic and neutral curing 1K-silicone sealant for sealing windows, facades and all type of joints in the building industry. SIL TECH N is fast drying and UV resistant. SIL TECH N adheres to many substrates such as e.g. ceramic tiles, enamel, sanitary acrylic, stainless steel, alum inum, copper, tin , glass and lacquered and glazed wood.

Natural stone compatible according to ISO 16938 1. Does not cause edge zone discoloration of natural stones.
Excellent process ability and easy modeling.
Neutral curing; free from acids and alkalis and therefore suitable for many alkaline and metallic substrates (minimized corrosion of metals).
Colorfast, weather and UV resistant.
Contains fungicidal and bactericidal agents for long term protection against mold and fungicide.
High chemical resistance: chlorine, salt water, lactic acid.
Long term temperature resistance: -40 to +220°C

APPLICATION:
- For elastic sealing of expansion and connection joints in the building and construction industry and for glass and window construction.
- Sealing of marble and other natural stones.
- For mirror bonding.
- Elastic sealing and bonding of glass and metal-aluminum constructions.
- Sanitary joints in bathroom and kitchen.
- For wall and flooring, for in- and outdoor.
- General building and construction joints.

USE:
- We advise you to always perform adhesion tests and compatibility tests on every surface before product use.
- On concrete, mineral plaster and fiber cement, a suitable primer must be applied in advance to the cleaned substrate.
- All adherent surfaces must be clean and free of release agents, grease, dust and other substances that could affect adhesion.
- During the curing process, small amounts of an oxime compound are released; therefore ensure good ventilation during processing and curing.
- Contact with bitumen, tar or softening materials should be avoided, as it may cause incompatibilities.
- Although the sealant contains fungicidal and bactericidal active substances, we always recommend you to use a commercially available cleaner, as dirt and soap residues, especially in combination with moisture, form a breeding ground for fungi and algae.
