Rust Off

RUST OFF is a very powerful, effective, but pH-neutral industrial special rust remover based on water and phosphonates. RUST OFF safely and easily dissolves rust and is unique in its type and application due to its neutral pH. Normally acidic products are used to   remove rust, but RUST OFF is based solely on neutral phosphonate compounds and is therefore environmentally friendly. RUST OFF also has a preventive effect and prevents immediate the reformation of rust.

  • Applicable on corroded metal surfaces like steel, cast iron and carbon steel

Shelf life/storage conditions: 5 years, store above freezing

  • USE:
  • Remove loose dirt and rust.
  • Dilute 1 liter of RUST OFF in 10 liters of water in a BUCKET FILTER COMPLETE. Immersion in the bucket allows the rusty object to come into contact with RUST OFF on all sides, so that the dissolved rust collects at the bottom of the bucket.
  • Immerse corroded metal parts in Bucket Filter Complete.
  • Then rinse with water and let it dry.
  • The immersion time depends on the application. At 20°C, expect an immersion time of:
    - 15 to 30 minutes for light, superficial rust.
    - 2 to 12 hours for a thick layer of rust.
    - 12 to 36 hours for deep, swelling rust.
  • APPLICATION:
  • RUST OFF can be applied on corroded metal surfaces such as: steel, cast iron and carbon steel.
  • Rust removal, restoration, preparation before surface treatments.
  • Removes rust stains on natural stone without damaging it
