Protect Tape

PROTECT TAPE is a strong cable protection tape, especially developed for a solid and spiral taping of wire harness. PROTECT TAPE is easy to use thanks to its handy tearability and reduced unwinding force. This makes it ideal for mechanical applications.
PROTECT TAPE is suitable for binding and protecting cables, for example in cars or for sound systems. Due to the special composition, it has a very good temperature resistance and offers sound insulation. PROTECT TAPE is solvent-free, PVC-compatible and resistant against ageing and rotting.
Thanks to the soft textile surface and very thin structure, PROTECT TAPE overlappings are almost invisible.

  • USE:
    - Use at a temperature between 10°C and 49°C.
    - Surfaces must be clean and free from dust and grease.
    - Avoid touching the exposed adhesive surface as this impairs the performance.
    - Pressure sensitive adhesive must be applied with a maximum of pressure to achieve maximum pressure level.
    - The indicated level of performance will be reached after a bonding period of 24 hours at 23°C.

    - Protects cables in dashboard or switch boxes against vibrations
    - Ideal for bundling cables
