Heat Stop

HEAT STOP is a gel which  protects surfaces and components from heat damage during soldering, brazing and welding. It acts like a "protective shield" and prevents e.g. a release of seals, parts stretch significantly less, sensitive components are protected.
HEAT STOP protects painted and finished surfaces from discoloration due to the use of torch systems. The specially gelled formula sticks to any surface without dripping or running off.
HEAT STOP reduces the deformation of surfaces and materials such as plastic, rubber, sealants and gaskets.

  • APPLICATIONS: piping, installation, valve connection, Drywall, cabinetry, glass and metal construction, body shop, sealing joints, thermostatic and valve systems, air conditions, cooling and heating systems, medical systems, building services, repair and maintenance.
  • USE:
    - Shake well before use!
    - Clean the area to be protected
    - Spray evenly on the area to be protected, simply wipe off excess gel of oxidisable materials
    - Gel residue forms a transparent film after drying, which can also be removed with water.

    CAUTION: DO NOT FREEZE!
