CONFIX is the ideal product for bonding and assembly needs. Providing an extremely fast and strong permanent bond under extreme conditions, either in the handcraft or industrial applications. CONFIX provides an excellent adhesion on different wood products and construction materials, ceramic, metals, thermosetting and thermoplastic materials and meets the highest strain group DIN D4 when bonding wood on wood. CONFIX is a particularly strong assemble adhesive that gives the possibility to realize a permanent bonding with functionality and very high strength.

  • The surfaces of the substrates to be bonded must be dry, free from dust and grease. Remove possible parting compounds.
  • Put parts to be bonded together befor CONFIX starts skinning. If needed, press together until functional hardness is obtainded.
  • CONFIX slightly foams during the setting process. Not hardened up CONFIX is cleanded with cleaning towels. Hardened adhesive just can be grinded or sandblasted and painted.
  • NOTE:
    The viscosity of 1-part polyurethane adhesives is twice as high while processing at +15°C as at +25°C
  • The adhesive changes ist colour, if it is exposed to the sun. The bonding strenght does not change!
  • Bonding of aluminium: Only possible on chemically pre-treated or painted surfaces. Blank aluminium can only be bonded with a suitable pre-treatment or a primer.
  • Bonding of materials with different linear expansion must be evaluated regarding their long-time performance!
