Alu Guard

ALU GUARD creates a cathodic and physic corrosion protection and with a fast and sustainable application. ALU GURAD only needs a thin layer of one time spraying to form a protective coat of almost 100% aluminium. After one layer of ALU GUARD the surface is already protected against all weather influences and shows a glossy, heat resistant apperance. After a treatment with temperatures over 180°C, the resin evaporates and the aluminium particles sinter together and form a strong, homogene surface. ALU GUARD withstands temperatures of 800°C and up to 970°C for intermittent periods. ALU GUARD can be used for touching up of metal parts and to provide long-term corrosion protection at elevated temperatures such as exhaustion pipes, grills and stoves. ALU GUARD is compatible with many metals, for example with iron, steel, galvanized steel, white iron, cast iron, copper, brass aluminium.

  • Aluminium in heat resistant silicon-resin
  • Provides long-term corrosion and protects surface from dirt and temperature fluctuation
  • Adheres on the metal surface due to added synthetic resin
  • Ideal for applications at high temperatures
  • Resists temperatures up to 970°C
  • Creates a glossy and shiny aluminium effect

  • Use ALU GUARD on room temperature and shakethe can well before use.
  • Before the application of ALU GUARD the surface must be dry and clean, free from dirt, rust, grease etc.
  • For the best results shown,  the surface should be sanded lightly.
  • ALU GUARD needs to be sprayed as an even layer on the object or surface to be coated.
  • Leave ALU GUARD to harden. For maximal chemical resistance the coating should be cured at 180°C for more than 20 min.
  • After the usage of ALU GUARD, hold the can up side down and spray until only gas is released, to clean the nozzle and prevent blockage.
